Should be cheaper than the zavvi one. Wouldn't surprise me if this ends up being a loss leader. Should be priced around 12.99 euro just like Cloud Atlas

I agree that the UK one will still be more sought after for the English text! :scat: Plus the journey from Germany to UK is a lot longer from a postage persepctive, meaning there's more chacnes for it to get damaged if not packaged well! :ohno:

We don't know if it will be glossy or embossed like the Zavvi version. The writing is in English, so if it is identical to the Zavvi version, I'll go with whatever version is cheaper.

Same for me but I don't believe that German version will be emboss or gloss.. So Zavvi will be the one to keep in my opinion...

No pictures of the back, eh?

Who wants their j-card printed on the back?

I see no reason why this wont be identical to the zavvi release with emboss and full gloss. Should be a shared print run as they have to produce a min amount. The artwork on amazon is identical with English.

I knew these limited Warner titles weren't going to hold any value. I mean these are Warner we talking bout lol. And these are catalogue titles at that. Name me one limited steel of value they did that wasn't from Asia. It's good for peeps that really want the steel for what it is but if u were looking to make a buck or good trade im sorry. The chances of this being the exact same as the zavvi one(gloss and bossed) are pretty high too.

Man, I hope this happens to more releases.
I like steelbooks, but I'm not forking out piles of dough just to get my hands on something "exclusive".
Amazon.de is also coming out with Real Steel and Tron steelbooks.

people were rushing to buy mars attacks and the other 'limited' steels on zavvi because they thought they would be.. well, limited. once they are gone, they are gone. now we see the truth is they are just as common as any other release, i can see mass cancellations on the horizon.

What could zavvi have done to stop this exactly? They probably wanted a small print run so they did and gave the rest to another country. Cant blame zavvi.. they are still limited, they'll have a uk j card. Think of it as jack reacher

'Sucker Punch' (Germany 1st release)
'Wizard of Oz' (Canada)
'Watchmen' (Canada 1st release)
'The Town' (Canada 1st release)

:wtf: Always the same, we wait, we wait, we wait... expecting that one day someone decide to give the steelbook treatment to a particular title and once one release it, all other retailers follow the line :(

Its like a bus, you wait for one and they all come at once.
