Lol, Warner France are the most stupid... in French we would say "arriver après la bataille" which can be translated by "to arrive after the fight"... "to be late"
I can imagine those people in their office just saying "oh, it was released in the UK, Germany, Spain and all are sold out, maybe we can make some money too!"

I would imagine it was a shared print run between UK/Germany/Spain/France, it's just that France is just releasing it later than the rest

(at least i don't think UK/Germany/Spain had a shared print run and that months later France all by itself commissioned the exact same steelbook with the exact same art/disc).

I didn't buy the previous versions (not because of a lack of envy but a lack of funds), but I think I might bite here: €15, it's not as expensive as Zavvi's + there's free shipping (over €25, I'll find something with which to order it

), and we've had the proof that it's a gorgeous steelbook. Hopefully Beetlejuice will also be joining it (it would have made sense to release them around Halloween though, not in December

).

Unless they decide to include the French Parisian dubbing instead of the Quebec dubbing, but it remains a dream.
