Its a wider issue going on all over with all fandoms and i'm tired of it.
I normally just keep my mouth shut on this stuff and thats what i'm going to do here on out for this movie.

Just saw this and while I admit my expectations were low I really enjoyed it.

A fun popcorn movie which I thought was great laugh and even Jared Leto was better than expected channelling his inner Tim curry voice.

Finally got to go see this. With everything else that's been out it took a while to get round to. I found it very enjoyable & actually very funny in parts too. It refused to take itself seriously but somehow pulled off the suspense that there was high stakes. A perfect homage & was a nice throwback to 80s narrative nostalgia. Recommended!

Just a shame it suffered at the box office with the amount of good releases and sleeper hits in recent weeks... Hopefully we see whatever they have planned next from the teasers post credits (there's 3 btw for people who dip out early).

Nice thing with it being an Amazon/MGM release, is that IF the streaming numbers are good when it comes to prime, they may greenlight a sequel just for the sake of content. The IP is strong and the movie has been well received. I'd say there is a chance.
