I don't have the first Maze Runner film as a steelbook
I watched a digital copy back in 2014 and was not impressed with the film itself and passed on getting on a Blu-ray release
I might have been a bit unfair on the film as I was extremely tired when watching at the time due to mad overtime hours I was doing in 2014

The First Film Steelbook easy enough to still get at a reasonable price but not the Film Arena numbered version that's mad prices I see collectors expecting to sell for

I have to re watch the first film and also watch scorch trials to see if my impressions of the first film have changed
I do like the Artwork on E1 I might blind buy and if I like the first film after a re watch get the previous steelbook of the first film

The two most recent FAC titles to have a print run of 500 copies or less were "The Last Stand" (500) and "Seventh Son" (350), both of which had closed GBs restricted to 'loyal' customers. "The Wolverine" (400) is a Black Barons title so different criteria apply.

Since the E1 version of "The Scorch Trials" (500) has an equally low print run, I wouldn't be surprised if it is also subject to a closed GB, restricted to 'loyal' customers and/or purchasers of the original FAC edition of the first film, "The Maze Runner" (500).

An open GB here seems likely to be only for the E2 version (1,000), which has double the copies available.

Another forum that does FAC GBs has been told by FA that no copies of the E1 version will be made available to them and their GB is only for the E2 version.

I'm only surmising that this will be the case here based on recent history, and it's always possible that the E1 version will be freely available but, if so, why the disparity in the number of copies of the respective versions?

Just what I was thinking. But the Problem is here. Some people didn't got the First Maze Runner over Filmarena. Just like me I got it from Steelarchive. But I still got it from someone official. But I don't think Filmarena knows this. I hope the ask for the Numbers so they know who bought the first Maze Runner. I think I will try to send them a Email with Pics of my Number, maybe this will work and I can buy one from the Filmarena Site

I'm kinda new to this way of entering a GB when you say number do you mean the number of FAC editions you own?
He means people like myself who have a collectable number assigned by Karel because of being part of the FAC Group Buy's from the very beginning and continued purchasing them. The Maze Runner was one of four titles from the 1st FAC GB.

Edition #1 is really good, Maze Runner was my first ever FAC GB here, so I'm happy that we get a matching edition for Scorch Trials :)!

I actually don't mind edition 2. For me the colour really encapsulates the mood of the scorch.

Got a feeling it will look a lot better in person as well and I look forward to some actual pics

I'll most probably only go for ed2 anyway as my FAC number is in the 900's
