At least I purchased my copy from Karel himself, but after the GB closed and not a "third party" seller. That is why I asked. But I understand that there are so many personel requests that not everthing and everybody can be considered. Would be too much work, I think. I hope I will be lucky, because it would be a pain to get this from the bay to complete my FAC collection.

Frankly I don't see why It matters where your copy came from. If you have one, then you should qualify for the new E1 edition. Simple as.
Mine came from Quent here, who was an absolute gent and didn't skin me for it.

As for I've missed just three Gbs since Hunger Games, two because I was late off the mark; one by choice, and took TLS and SS.

Does that make me a loyal customer this time round? Hope so, but mmm, time will tell. :)

So i havent read through 17 pages but what about those people that bought TMR directly from FA but didnt have a collectible number back then?

Because when the first TMR was released, you didnt need a collectible number to own it...

Good question as I don't know if the ones they sold then we're through collectable numbers or not but maybe and since you might not have the collectable number that you got with tmr does it then fall to the person with that number or the person who bought it. They might be able to pull up the records of who bought it and offer it to them who knows right now though

Hmmm, so I bought Maze Runner off fleabay and I've just noticed that there is a ninja who was in the original group buy and has a collectible number and its their copy I bought!

This is exactly the point I made earlier. Let's face it there are people on the original GB who sold or traded their copy. Why should they be automatically chosen if they don't possess it now???

I do hear hear you, I really do, there is most likely a small minority of people that were on the older GBs for these early editions that were scalping, no question about it. But you do have to think of circumstances for some who have parted ways with their editions. Financial reasons etc can play a part and have no choice but to sell up which is probably a shame for them also.

All I can say is that I think Martin & Karel are doing a sterling job and I believe they are doing what they think is the best and fairest way of doing the GB for this. Let's not forget that their hands are tied in this from Filmarena so they can only go by what amount of copies they are being allocated and most likely it's them who setting the criteria for allocation to Karel.

Just so people know, Martin has messaged me as he can see that there is huge interest in this and doesn't have time to answer everybody's questions and tags and has expressed the fact that so many people want this, I think some are going to be disappointed as they still do not know how many copies are going to be allocated and it will be based on who was in the GB for Maze Runner, The Last Stand & Seventh Son. It sounds most likely members who weren't in all 3 of the GBs or at leaset not in the TLS & SS are going to miss out. If they get more copies than they are expecting he has said that of course they will add more members, through an open mini GB or private PM, remains to be seen. He can't reiterate anymore than that as that is how it's being done. I think if you missed out the Maze runner first time round but we're on the lists for TLS & SS you stand a fair chance of getting one, but again it's copy allocation dependant, so we just have to wait & see.

I'm with you all holding baited breath to see if I'm included and fingers crossed for everybody else, but it is what it is and the guys are doing the best they can and I for one thank them for all the hard work they do. I know you all appreciate what they do as much as I, and are extremely excited about this release, but rest assured they are doing their VERY best to keep as many people happy as possible.

To all: Yes, the main bunch of GB list entries comes from the original Maze Runner GB list. More spots will be added based on the TLS/SevSon lists. However, the amount will be strictly limited, so while new members to the list are NOT ruled out, they have to wait and see. First priority are the members from these three lists (MR,TLS,SevSon). But of course, they're working on securing as many copies as possible for us here, be assured of that.

Correct. There can be no justice in that approch; not least because those on the original GB list who traded or sold can be odds on favourite to do so again - and can now legitimately scalp on the FA sales thread on FB :(
Anyone who has perused that will know the so-called "fair prices" seem to hover somewhere between ludicrous and the obscene! :(

The only fair way is for owners of copies NOW to be made priority both here, and with FA. Then any refusals go to GB & collectible numbers at FA.
