Ok, so we've already established (several times) in this thread that this is actually the silver version, identical to the original PLAY.com release. With that in mind:

A) Why are Zavvi still displaying the black artwork with silver logo rather than the correct black logo on silver background?

B) Have we established that this is actually a reprint, or could it just be "found old stock" from when PLAY ceased selling directly?

C) Are there any noticeable differences between the copies received recently and the original which was purchased from PLAY.com over a year ago? Does anyone here own both?

There are still questions here which need answering!

On another note... I have noticed that retailers like Amazon and Zavvi tend to list items which are "new to them" (read: former exclusives of PLAY.com) with forthcoming release dates, when in fact they have already been released and are actually just the same old stock which has been redistributed to a different retailer. I suspect that this may have been the case with other releases such as Oldboy last year. I personally believe that retailers should be slightly more transparent about such details, and remove any doubt for people like us on forums like this. Likewise, if a specific title has indeed been granted a re-issue or extended print run, then we deserve to know about it, otherwise we generally assume that a SteelBook title is limited to 4,000 units by default (except in various circumstances where it is known that some popular titles have had larger runs, and some have "ultra limited" runs)
