Michael Bay Freaks Out at Samsung's Press Conference - CES 2014

I already just had a bit of a rant about this on Twitter... but man, people really do jump at the chance to rip into Bay, huh? He's a film director, not a public speaker! He was clearly nervous (in my eyes) and was probably way out of his comfort zone. It's not like he was a total douche about it and stormed off cursing either... dude apologised TWICE! Meh, people love to hate I guess. I'd seriously love to see how those bashing him would react in the same situation though - relying on a teleprompter in front of a huge crowd only for it to crash/fail mid-sentence. I'd more than likely want to get the hell out of there too!

Ive not really posted anything negative and Im not trying to make fun of him either. Im just shocked.
I could tell when he first walked out he seemed a little nervous. I thought he might pass out or have a panic attack (which he might have) I get them VERY rarely now and they are not fun. I usually have to get away from whatever is causing the problem.
Sorry mate, my previous post wasn't aimed at you... I was just talking in general (my Twitter feed is full of people talking about it/him).
I suffer with anxiety and also often have panic attacks, and yep, they're horrible! Not sure if Bay was about to have one, but you could definitely tell that he was feeling pretty uncomfortable up there.
Public speaking, especially if you get caught off guard is a daunting task for many... Guy got nervous and walked away. Happen's to the best of them sometimes... I dont see what's to mock or make fun of here. He is after-all someone who spends his time behind the camera not in front of it, plenty of people in Hollywood who are actually shy by nature but you would never know it (not that MB is shy I dont think).
Its cool I wasnt really sure if you were or not.
Mine would be because I would suppress stress and then they started out of no where when I would be driving thats when I finally had to go see a doctor. Not fun!
I can understand why a lot of celebs will drink before they have to appear on stage. Still dont know how they do it.

If I was a celeb and had to talk to large crowds like that I would probably hit the sauce a little too
What is it that they call it.... "liquid courage", lol. A little liquid courage goes a long way when doing two things: public speaking and asking girls out 
Nice to see that big celebrity like him is a normal human being too.
ok, here is my response to this and question not only the title of this post, but what is being said all over the net.....
when someone "Freaks Out" it usually means what it imposes. But all Mr. Bay did was lower his head for a few, then just walked off stage. :movie:
