Fair point...my opinions on movies often differ to other people's opinions so maybe I'm contradicting myself regarding this...

Maybe but I wasn’t massively defending this. It isn’t going to change your life but it was fine for what it was. I guess I’m fairly easily pleased though. There aren’t many films I’d call complete s**t. It’s either high level or just fine for me for the most part unless truly truly bad.

I was really looking forward to the film and the trailer was great but it just didn’t fully deliver. I think the problem was Bong was on a roll anyway and Parasite was one of those very few generational films everyone loves plus Pattison was on a high and everyone was in full swing of loving him as an actor outside of Twilight. Was no longer teen girl fans so everyone was expecting a lot with this film and it just fell a bit flat and didn’t fully deliver and Pattison is just too weird in it plus the voice. It’s a great idea and there’s aspects of it I can praise but it just didn’t fully hit its target. Maybe it will be appreciated more over time like Babylon. Saying all that I do need to give it a second watch and I’m happy to get a premium for it. I’d rather support these kinds of films than constant Spiderman, dark knight and other WB blockbusters regardless of how great they can turn out

Amen to that... the constant regurgitation of previously released movies is just tiresome and will inevitably continue.
I can't really comment on the quality of this release having never watched it but at least it's a release for something which hasn't had an overkill of previous releases...

Pattison is just too weird in it plus the voice.

But weird Pattinson is the best Pattinson (especially when he puts on silly voices)! He's so good in The Boy And The Heron that the missus was convinced I was messing with her when I told her who he played, and he's delightfully awkward in stuff like The Drama too. I mean I like him in stuff like The Batman too but I enjoy performances of him where he's able to loosen up a lot more. I'm hoping him playing Scytale on Dune Part 3 will be a bit more of the latter.

I fully agree. Love his weird or awkward characters he plays but you know In Tropic Thunder Downey mentions about going full rètard. Well Pattison went full Pattison in this and it kinda didn’t work unfortunately
