DL finally sold out, now that I've skipped this release I can't wait to find out in hand it's the best lenti they've released and the steel is an absolute banger. Couldn't happen, right?

Ya’ll complaining they’re releasing too much sequels and franchises and now they do an original and this is what Manta gets.
It's not nice to see I agree. However Manta need to put the same effort into this they put into their sequels and franchises for it to be a success, wouldn't you agree?

The steelbook being the same art as the OC is poor form (even outside of the preference of wanting different or "better" art). That decision is indicative of the effort put into this release. Manta are falling on their own sword here, and it is no one's fault but their own.

Manta Lab is begging someone to buy their movie products because they aren't selling well.

It makes sigh.

If they had made the design well, it would have sold well. :sorry: :sorry: :sorry:

I remembered an hour-fifteen after, everything was in stock, bought a couple of DLs for myself and a friend – felt like 2016. Wish all pre-orders were like that.

There are too many collectors nowadays.

It’s actually depressing the message this might send Manta. But also their artwork choices could’ve been much better
Nah, I think they understand it's a combination of
1) not a very popular or liked movie
2) many previous WWA steelbooks, even with cards
3) poor art choice on their editions
4) less slips
5) same art everywhere
6) less spare money overall in collectors hands for a 'secondary', not must-have title such as this

@tha_lunatic is the Hugh Hefner of collecting steelbooks, no doubt he'll have two of them by the day ends....

because koreans make better movies and series than america nowadays.
ahh, totally forgot to order smugglers :(

Bong Joon-Ho who scripted and directed the movie is Korean. :D

I’m wondering if the results at the box office would have been different if the cast had been fully Korean.

However the Snowpiercer did great with European and American actors.

And also there are too many resellers these days.

Some of you were buying these releases long before me. But I recall the first Manta Lab I ever bought was the Seven DL and there was no rush at all when preorder opened. After I received it I ended up learning about other premium sellers and remember going to Nova's site and picking up Gangs of New York and Reservoir Dogs, and then PA's site and getting Train to Busan and I, Tonya because none of them had even sold out when they were released. I think I grabbed Black Panther and GOTG v. 2 from WeET because they were still in stock, too.
