Lucky these aren't limited - the last time I 'signed up' to get a notification from Amazon when a Steelbook was released I got it 5 days after I had ordered it.

I think this is the best of the wave, i'll definitely be grabbing this one when it hits a tenner or less.

Never heard of this and the others in the wave, which ones stand out?
You have not heard of these films ?
The majority of them are very good films and some are classics

The Highlighted ones are very good Films
Note Hustler Steelbook Artwork is poor but its a fantastic film and great extras
Patton is as far as I Know not the Remastered version but is a very good Film
USA Blu-ray is better has it has extras disc and better quality picture

A Bridge Too Far
Battle of Britain
Chariots of Fire
The Fly (1986)
The French Connection
The Full Monty
Hart's War
The Hustler
The Last King of Scotland
The Longest Day
Miller's Crossing
Patton
Rising Sun
Tigerland
Tora! Tora! Tora!

In Terms of just the Steelbook themselves best looking ones are IMO
Tora! Tora! Tora!
Chariots of Fire
Patton

and Millers Crossing I suppose you can add to that

The Good The Bad and the Ugly is not part of the wave but is a separate release from these

I've watched full monty and heard of last king of Scotland but it was the others I haven't heard of like the more war sort of ones I guess well based on the covers. I will check them out though thanks for the list though.

You must be young I gather to not heard of most of these
Either that or I'm getting old :hilarious:
Some are must watch films and are considered classics

I'm young aha I mean since I've started collecting steels I've been open to watching new films instead of just watching the same old comedy or action and when I see new release I tend to check them out and have a look see if they look decent. Like you said before on another thread I think you said you don't base it on reviews of film critics but yourself that's what I'm like. Rather watch it then and see if I like it or not.
