Well, this "Pop Art" released a little over a year ago . . . nomenclature misnomer as a description for most of these as hardly pop(ular) / for the populus / man or woman in the street . . . judging by the majority of comments on steelbook forums about Pop Art steelbooks in general and this sad collection in particular:-

. . . so maybe time for a re-release of the decent artwork we had in the UK . . . only this time without the printed banner header and back:-

. . . although easily the best steelbook to be re-released would be the US edition:-

3 steelbooks constitute a wave  and matching in any way they are not.

This particular 3 non-matching Fox wave ----------------------------------------- WB's recent matching 13 Iconic Moments wave & Paramount's recent matching 16 huge front titles wave

MINORITY REPORT easily the best among them and the best steelbook artwork for this film so far . . . just maybe slightly weird composition with so much going on on the left side and nothing much on the right. Works well enough though.

DIE HARD in Illustrated silhouette style definitely the odd one out in this company . . .

BRAVEHEART looks OK but not going to win the prize as the best steelbook for this film . . . wasn't a fan of the quote on the front until I realised it's appropriate and clever considering the 'crown of swords' artwork.

My mistake. I thought Raging Bull was part of this but I realize now that it is MGM.
And I thought there might have been more titles coming. I wasn't including Die Hard. That's garbage.

As far as matching art goes...hopefully that trend will die. I'm not a fan of those.

I'd have preferred this steelbook more bluey than greeny - like on the previous UK example and posters - but no biggie.

I suppose one of the best things about this MINORITY REPORT steelbook is that the art is new to the steelbook and that they didn't just recycle one of the previous releases.

Original poster art ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- and more pleasing to the eye than the similar style:-

Just glancing at this poster / steelbook mock-up again got me thinking that this Tom Cruise very much favours his right side profile in his movie posters . . .

Anyway, you singled out the new DIE HARD steelbook as garbage when I think you must gave been referring to this previous one:-
