It's Fox, it's the WWA steelbook: they're definitely capable of not having a title on the spine (The Martian's WWA steelbook had no title).

Uggghhhh it's getting so tiresome . If they're not going to do it properly then they may as well not bother even doing a steelbook at all. They wouldn't release an amaray case with missing titles, spine, etc, so why is it acceptable to shaft steelbook collectors?

The Martian was an exception with Fox the rest of their steelbooks had a title on the spine and so does this steelbook

I don't know if this is confirmed artwork but if it is I'd say it's poor and a bit disappointing outside artwork, particularly on the front, but I love the *inside images

I don't know what they were thinking with several cool official poster designs available for the steelbook front to put artwork like that on the front when it should be on the back at best . . . although maybe the intention is a minimalist front in the way of THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS.

Personally I'd prefer this one on the left to be on the front of the steelbook instead of that one on the right.
Poster design by LA with photography by the prolific Frank Ockenfels ......................poster design by LA

The one good thing about the artwork in the OP is that both front and back match well colour-wise but that inside image from this poster design is great . . . unfortunately maybe too busy for the front / back although it would make for stunning wraparound art in the style of the BFG and others in the wraparound steelbook artwork list.

*LA / Frank Ockenfels.

Anyway, another one to add to the ever growing list of Tim Burton steelbooks at present standing at 17  with the majority pretty darn good :)

Same images showing for Filmarena so presumably the artwork is confirmed:-

At least we know now what this steelbook looks like in the flesh.
Zero finish with metallic reflections in the sky, the sea and the chateau windows

Not a fan of the exterior artwork by any stretch of the imagination but love the inside.
Elegant looking steelbook though and at least the colouring of the front and back is consistent.

Someone who's taken delivery of the steelbook describes the slip as an "H" card - by that I expect he's referring to something like what's showing on the steelbook for France (but with English print of course):-

I know nothing about this film. Is it any good?

Awful mate

Started decent and lasted about an hour. Then it was dribble and unfortunately the standard burton makes these days.

Been a very long time since he's made a decent fantasy/ mild horror film

I'm loathe to watch Tim Burton films these days as he seems to have lost the plot a long time ago

He lost it inbetween sleepy hollow and big fish.... With planet of the apes

Those 2 were his last great films.

With what appear to be a serious lack of interest in this steel.... Do people expect a severe price drop with this title?
(Personally I loved Burtons Frankenweenie so don't believe he's done just yet)

its also available from several other premium retailers so that could be some of the lack of interest

Personally found the film mess. Plot and logic are all over the place.

For example.......
When you have a weapon as powerful as the twins with the sacks on their heads who can turn people to stone, why not use them to defend yourself from the start instead of just using them for a brief second at the end!!

It gets even worse as the time travel element unfolds.

Which is a shame as Jane Goldman who wrote the screenplay is usually pretty solid.

Or, another... (among MANY)
The one chick wears the boots so she won't float away.
In the finale, to save the kid from the attack on the roof, she undoes her boots and grabs him to fly DOWN to the ground?!!!
And what about the score? The fight on the pier in the 1940s
all of a sudden is scored with DUBSTEP music?!!!!! WTF?! (Felt like a scene from the Power Rangers Tv show 20 years ago).

:rofl::LOL:

Must admit, I didn't notice the music. I think I might have been asleep at that point!

Another thing that bothered me was.....
The whole point of the 'school' was to be a refuge for kids with deformities that couldn't fit in with the normal world. So why was the kid that could bring people back to life or the kid that could project his dreams there? Other than their capabilities they looked perfectly normal on the outside and could fit into society no problem as nobody would have been any wiser.....
