I'll be honest. The show was very erratic in its episode quality and I'm surprised it got a greenlight for more series. As much as I enjoyed it overall, I can't say I was hanging for more. Maybe they'd greenlit 2 seasons upfront? Sometimes that happens. Probably got sold upon Hardy alone, even though Brosnan, Mirren, Considine and Frogartt are the cream of British actors, you'd have to imagine it was Hardy that got those execs on seats in Paramount HQ.

Still. It's a shame that this kind of dirty laundry makes the news. Not sure it's good for the show.

Hardy doesn't have to worry though. I feel he's got plenty of favour in the bank, that being fired would hardly make a dent in his career.
