Blu-ray Disc Player with 3D Support, 5.1 Analog Audio Outputs, and USB Drive Support

The Monoprice BDP-620 3D Blu-Ray Disc Player is designed to provide the highest level of compatibility and performance in playback of BD, DVD, and CD media, in a compact, easy-to-use, low-cost device!

The BDP-620 supports up to 1080p video and includes 3D video support! It can handle up to 7.1 channel audio output, including Dolby TrueHD™ and DTS-HD® High Resolution Audio. It includes both HDMI® and composite video output options, plus HDMI, Digital Coax, 5.1 channel RCA, and stereo RCA audio output options. The unit will output both digital and analog audio and video simultaneously, giving you full flexibility in connecting your main system and the ability to run an auxillary SD system along with your main HD system.

Note: Analog 5.1 audio outputs are extremely rare on blu-ray players currently on the market. This feature allows users with legacy analog AV receivers to get the most out of their audio system, while enjoying full HD quality video on their HDMI equipped HDTVs.

The setup utility allows full control over the audio configuration, allowing you to enable or disable individual speakers in a full 7.1 sound system, thereby affecting which channels are mixed into the selected outputs. In addition to the ability to enable or disable individual speakers, the setup utility allows you to select the crossover level for the subwoofer channel between 80 Hz, 100 Hz, and 120 Hz.

An RJ-45 LAN jack allows you to connect the BDP-620 to your router or broadband modem to obtain BD Live content from the internet when using discs with BD Live support. Additionally, a wireless receiver in the player allows it to be connected to your LAN without the need to run RJ-45 cable from your router.

A front panel USB port allows you to connect a USB memory device (FAT32 formatted flash drive or HDD up to 2 TB size), which will be automatically used by the player as a storage device for BD Live internet content. The USB device can also be used as a source device for music, videos, and image file playback.

The system menu separates files into type (music, video, or image), allowing easy access to the specific files you want to playback from the USB device. From there, the drive's directory tree can be navigated using the directional buttons on the remote. The Random button on the remote allows randomization of a group of audio files for non-sequential playback. See the Specifications page for a full list of supported file types.

The BDP-620 is adorned with an attractive black finish and a bright LED digital display. The player includes convenient front panel controls for power/standby, play/pause, and disc tray open/close, so that the remote does not need to be used when performing these basic functions.

The remote control includes all buttons necessary for navigating and controlling playback and setup of the player, as well as special colored buttons for use with BD Java interactive operations. Additional functions include the ability to set the Angle, Audio, and Subtitles on the fly, as well as the ability to view information about the selected media.
