ummmm, it's a 2011 Smart Car

i went this route because of rediculous gas prices, and the possibility it could get worse next year. So far I am verry happy, will let you know in about 6 moths before i can report on winter driving lol.
I only had the car less than 2 weeks and first thing i did was to upgrade the door speakers, OMG they sounded awful. I put a set of Kickers in, what a huge difference. No, i did not put in an Amplifier, just speakers.
I did add some chrome, of which i will update the pic when done.

by the way, this pic was taken at the dealer, my daughter drove by and saw my car outside, she sent me a text message that said i better not be buying a smartcar or she will disown me
so i had the dealer take a pic of me in the car and i sent it to her and a text saying to late

I didn't know Americans knew such small cars existed. OUCH !!
Seriously I didn't think they were selling them in the States yet for the reason your daughter quoted. Personally I think they are just too small but there again we have a 27foot caravan to tow so need our 4x4. Mind that only gets driven at weekends and on holidays. If you think prices are expensive unleaded in UK is £1.36 per ltr, Diesel £1.41 per ltr approx. (I'll try and find a US Gallon price converter site and edit later) EDIT Unless the sites I've visited are wrong and ditto with currency exchange, you are looking at approx USD 8.46713 & USD 8.77842 per US Gallon for unleaded and Diesel respectively at our pump prices.

I like the smart cars a lot. Especially for city parking... But if you only got it for gas prices why didn't you get a hybrid? Don't the smart cars only get like 25ish MPG? Or are the 2011 better? I remember reading about them when they first came out and wanted to get one, but wasn't impressed with the MPG.
