Ok I did a group buy for a set of stands and she got all mad at me for buying them as she is like we don't need to display the steelbooks. Well while she was at work last night I set 2 of the stands up and put Prince of Persia and Underworld Awakenings on them to display.

I get home from work and do you know what is on my stands both my Sex and the City's that is just cruel (ok yes I bought both the CA and the Best Buy Sex and the City's that was during my heyday of buying and when I would buy anything and I had already arranged a trade for the FS Sex and the City when I found out Best Buy was getting it too).

I mean my poor display stand sullied so soon in their display life.

Well, I buy some movies that I wouldn't normally buy, just so my wife can watch them. 100% of the time, she falls asleep part way through, and I end up watching it myself. Why do I bother?

OHHH MAN....Thats cuel and harsh punishment in any country.
what ever you screwed up mate,id be doing two things.
1.fixing it up real quick
2.and do yourself a favour and get rid of those steels

I get my girlfriend involved in the whole steelbook collecting thing! Shes slowly coming round. You can do it too, they just need training pigeon steps is the key, they can't handle too much too soon

I do hope you washed your display stands out with soapy water!! Why not get your wife into collecting too and start her off with 2 copies of SATC

I couldn't even get her to buy the Twilights when they came out in steel as that wasn't the edition she wanted. She wanted the Borders edition that later became the Target edition (so yes now I am stuck with 2 New Moons and Breaking Dawns one in steel and one as a Borders/Target edition and I missed out on the Eclipse and my OCD collecting is going to force me to pay a premium for that ahhhhhhhhhh)

Sir,it's a trade off. If you get to buy your Steels, she gets to have her own editions too. Only seems fair Thanks to my wife, we have to own 'Ghost Rider' German Steel and the BB empty case. I couldn't care less about those movies, but she likes them. She helps me unpack, organize them, and she thinks it's cute I am such a movie nut. I show her some of the cool pain finishes and debossing/embossing, and since I am a Staff member, she knows more than she wants to know,LOL. She's not into movies like I am, but she gets my insanity-like when I was getting ready for bed, and then saw apmsith21's post about the same skus for the Lenticular and Steels of Underworld at BB. She was not home when that happened, but I called her from the car, as I was racing to BB to get one in person, and she just laughed. Haha....
