My favourite Miyazaki movie! Waited for the Studio Ghibli films to come out on steelbook for so long, but can't say I'm overly sure about the style of these, Miyazaki Sans artwork is too beautiful to be confined like that, it should take over the whole steel! Plus price is just taking the piss as usual Zavvi!!

Best artwork in my opinion. Will probably only be bested by Mononoke or Spirited Away now! Totoro has now knocked up to second best in my book, as Howl's Moving Castle has a bit of a boring reverse. Ponyo I'm not interested in.
Just had a spot of bad luck as far as timing goes - after waiting these past few days to use my Zavvi 10% code against Nausicaä and Evil Dead 2 steelbooks, Zavvi stop the code working with Evil Dead 2. So now that's off the cards, I pre-order Nausicaä (using a 10 Zavvi Rewards Points too) for £17.90 thinking I'm clever. Literally 2 minutes later the links for Amazon are put up, and guess what the price is? £17.90! Somebody out there is trying to take the piss!

Ugh, talk about a wasted opportunity. When I saw the covers on Zavvi, I was hoping they were placeholders until proper designs were out. Guess not.
I get that their trying to be classy, but it just doesn't work with the images they've picked. Sometimes the silver steels can be really nice, like The Place Beyond the Pines and Trainspotting, but the artwork has to have a minimalist look to it. They should've reused the Japanese Blu-ray silhouette-style covers if this is what they were going for. What they've got now is the opposite of what they should've done, i.e. all the white space should've been coloured, and the images should've been white.

I cancelled my pre-order @ £17.90...should I be regretting it? Didn't seem worth the price really, but I'll regret it if it doesn't drop in price very much...really want this one (and maybe Totoro or Howl's).
I don't see these selling out, especially now we know they are silver and not white (again).

I will get this but not gonna pay £18 for it...already got burned this week with Nosferatu, not gonna let it happen again for a cheaper-quality StudioCanal steel (rather than an Eureka one).
I disagree, the mockups look white to me, at worst cream. Wasn't expecting silver.

My eyes are fine. Top colour doesn't match the bottom, whatever way you want to justify it.

They look pretty similar to me
If you really think that the mockups look white or cream, then you actually seriously do need to get your eyes checked.
