I never knew this film had a steelbook release. Perhaps a specialist here could shed some more light on this!!!

There is a UK DVD SteelBook release for Night Watch, but I've never seen any information about a UK Blu-ray SteelBook release.

The EAN code 5 039036 069977 is a valid EAN and as they generally seem to be assigned in increasing order, that EAN would place the imaginary release date roughly at the end of year 2014 (but release dates may change, so this guesstimate is not necessarily accurate).

E.g., the X-Men: Days of Future Past UK Blu-ray SteelBook has EAN 5 039036 069342 and was released on 2014-11-10.

I knew about it a while back, and stalked ebay until someone had one up there.

Also (added info) -Neflix is the only place that has NIGHTWATCH in HD with the animated subtitles, and Vudu is the only place where you can see DAYWATCH in HD with the animated subtitles.
I (obviously) haven't opened up the steelbook, so I'm not sure if it has animated subtitles (most likely it does not).,.

I have the DVD steelbook of Nightwatch with animates subs, always felt a little jipped that Daywatch didn't have the same/similar attention to detail with the subs....

According to the packaging it's 2014. Only 2 years ago and no-one heard of this at all?

Seems to have slipped by us all as I could find anything on here about it so I pm'd @C.C. 95 asking him were he got his, he told me off ebay and like a true ninja pointed out a few for sale on the bay. Thanks Buddy!

Managed to grab a copy my self for about £20.

Was actually going to open it a few weeks back I'm dying to see inside art myself, but changed my mind now.

Got it on 20th March for £21.50 from ebay seller camelpleasuretoburn1913, they had a few for sale at the time maybe worth contacting to see if they have any left.
