So amazon couldn't do this edition in the first place as an exclusive?
A nice looking edition which I'm sure will be snapped up by collectors who, frustratingly, already own the mediocre art steelbook.
Plus, it's an amazon exclusive, so their packaging should ensure there won't be 3000 pristine copies...

It doesn't mention that it's an Amazon exclusive. It looks like it will also be available at HMV, but I'm not 100% sure, as they only show the steelbook. (But the website link does mention (The Ultimate Collector's Edition, the same as amazon)
In the HMV description, it mentions: '40-page book of production notes; double-sided poster; 5 art cards; 5 character cards; extended cut,' with a release date of 13th October 2025.
Why is is it now £55 for a Universal collectors edition? 
We've gone from a £5 jump to a £10 leap for a glossed and Debossed steel and slipcase. It's now firmly in premium territory.
Last year's sets were £45.

3,000 copies will sell out for sure, I’ve already put my pre-order in, though I’m not a fan of the price and expect it to rise again next year.
Agreed. It looks way better than April's steelbook this year but it's a very bitter pill (too much) to swallow given not only the release within the same year, which a huge proportion of us already bought, but also that 23% price increase shouldn't be warranted within 12 months.
Yes. A 23% price increase over the £44.99 sets. Almost a quarter more expensive than 12 months ago.

Casper was £49.99 and people were saying they were out at that, and now 2 weeks later we've gone up again.
Mine went through mine about half hour ago.
Try opening the product page in a private window and seeing if it’s still in stock/it works then.
Correct, the title will be debossed. Glad you like this steelbook version better!
