Was playing a nice round of golf last week in the evening , noticed i had a insect on back of my leg brushed it off , got home i knew i had been bittern by some critter , two days later couldn't walk because of the pain went to the mini A+E , just watch out for infections they say , 3 days later back at the doctors , yes mr brown you have a infection , now on a course of antibiotics because of damn little insect called the Blandford fly !!! Which has caused Cellulitis .. My ankles were the size of balloons yesterday not very nice at all .. also has caused skin blisters also .. so watch out people

Tend to get bitten out cycling quite a bit - had a run in with a horsefly earlier this year - they're nasty lil f******!

Ha ha , my mate had a run in with horsefly the same night , guess what ? The Horsefly Won ha ha

ouch! I dunno about you but when i get bitten i always react badly... especially when on the beach (or sand pit ) :E

Reminds me when i got bitten by something on the back of my ankle... (After i had visited Cambodia) I was fine by it but the wife was paranoid by it.
