Watched this last night. Reference quality all round. Watched all the extras straight after too which were awesome. They go into good detail about the sets, locations, stunts, etc. The only thing missing was more interviews with the whole cast (only Tom Cruise is really featured).

The isolated score sounded really good on my system, but then I knew it would as DTS encoding is highly superior to Dolby Digital. Still, wish it was lossless though.

I don't get the hate for this film, I thought it was really good. A little Hollywood cliche in a few places but overall a damn good sci-fi.

Would have liked to have seen an extra about the phone call Tom Cruise got from Katie Holmes telling him she wanted a divorce...Now that would have been a great item to add to the "cut scenes"

Got mine but 2 scratches under the j card. Amazon are sending me another. Not totally impressed by the film and the steelbook also feels cheap in hand. Average film, average steelbook at best.

Just watched this and really enjoyed it.
When I say this is the new demo for picture quality I ain't kidding

OH MY GOD it's awesome , right up there with Skyfall if not better !

It looked amazing on my calibrated Panasonic 65VT50

Excessively long, without any padding, but it was also asymmetric on the bottom. I should have taken a pic, really odd packaging.

my copy has just arrived. Mint as always from Amazon.Great packaging. ( zavvi take note). The Colours are not as vibrant as expected but a very nice steel. Looking forward to watching as didnt catch at the cinema.

Copy just arrived. Look forward to watching this over the UK bank holiday weekend. Didn't get chance to see this at the cinema either. Reviews seem favourable from you guys so it was an impulse buy. Can't wait to watch.

Mine arrived today, just in the Amazon card sleeve. Funnily enough, there was no damage because of that, but there is a spine slash on the opening side. Already arranged the return/replacement. Pain in the butt though, I'll be taking 5 parcels to my local Collect Plus depot, Oblivion and 4 for Zavvi.

Mine arrived from Amazon today in a big box, which contained the regular steelbook shipping box, which contained the steelbook...it was like unpacking a Russian doll ....

...Watched the film tonight and it looks stunning...I enjoyed the film, not an instant classic, but a film I can see myself rewatching which is always a good sign.
