Hey there International Ninjas!!!

I am hosting a group buy for BOTH USA Hunger Games Steelbook releases from Best Buy.

First of all, PLEASE make sure you have read and understand all the Group buy rules per the Group Buy Rules for Members Thread!!!

Once you've signed up for a copy/copies, you MAY NOT WITHDRAW FOR ANY REASON!*

*When signing up for the Group Buy, please include which release(s) you are requesting AND the country you are from!!!*

COST BREAKDOWN:

Pre-Order Price ($22.99 for Part 2/17.99 for Part 1) + sales tax (8.25%) + $3.00 Group Buy Fee (Per Steelbook) + Shipping/Handling fees + PP fees*

*PayPal fees (4.5%) will also be included in your invoice**

LIMIT PER MEMBER:
There will be no limit of copies per member pending I have enough spots left in the Group Buy. I will be reserving 10 copies of Hunger Games and 15 copies of Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

*I will be inspecting EVERY copy and will ONLY pass on SEALED/MINT copies as long as they're available. Please note that these steelbooks WILL have a cardboard slip/j-card. So if you open your copy and find any damage behind that slip/j-card, I apologize, but that is out of my hands and therefore, not my liability.*

SHIPPING WILL BE CHARGED AS FOLLOWS:

My packaging method...Steelbook will be wrapped in a generous amount of bubble wrap and packed securely in a cardboard box.

Please understand that with*NON-TRACKABLE SHIPPING, you the buyer are aware that I cannot verify its delivery. I will be keeping proof of shipping on hand for every package shipped. (*If you would like tracked shipping [International Priority Shipping], the shipping cost basically doubles for one copy. This method also comes with insurance. But in that instance, you will need to report full value on the customs forms to receive that insurance and may be liable for paying any customs taxes/duties that come associated with the reported value.*)

Note: These prices are for one steelbook ONLY. However, the price DOES NOT double for multiple copies. If you need an exact shipping quote for multiple copies, please PM me BEFORE signing up for multiple copies!

With First Class International Shipping (delivery confirmation to MOST countries), prices are:
Europe = $18.50
Canada = $14.50
ROW = $19.00

THE GOODS

So I ordered ALL copies in a few separate orders. Certainly more than just 3 at a time. I also ordered the other steelbooks in the same orders. However, Best Buy took it upon themselves to ship ONLY three at a time. I'm assuming it's so that they didn't have to use boxes and could save on the shipping since they didn't charge me for any shipping.

With all that being said, luckily most arrived unharmed. Which is rather surprising considering the vessels they used for shipping and the fact that two out of the three of them were halfway ripped open when I got them off of my porch this evening. ONLY one has issues and it's just a few tears in the plastic. I will be exchanging it for a MINT copy though so no worries fellas.

Apparently, the other steelbooks were shipped from a different hub and didn't ship until release day (where these shipped a couple days beforehand), so they will be here later in the week. I will certainly keep you guys updated when I have new information.

I've received a response back from Lions Gate about the replacement discs. They've asked that I send them copies of the receipts, as well as pictures of the Bar Codes on the back of the steelbooks j-card. I told them the situation as far as me not having all the copies any longer and ONLY having the receipts. I will be sending them pictures of the receipts tomorrow and we will go from there.

So, if you guys are interested in the replacement discs, I may need you to send me a picture of the bar code on the back of the j-card. This will require a bit of participation on your part. And it's possible that without the picture, that I won't be able to get you a replacement disc, so PLEASE pay attention for updates from me to the GB thread.

Also, just a head's up...if you are interested in the replacement disc, you will have to be responsible for paying the shipping of the disc from me to you. I will package them as safely, but as economically as possible.

Wouldn't all the barcodes be identical? they are a product barcode not an individual bar code are they not?

That's what I was thinking. But when I mentioned to them that I didn't have them all, they didn't say either way. But yeah, they should be ALL the same. I was finally able to send them pictures of ALL the receipts I had left today. I couldn't find 2 of the receipts that had a total of 6 copies on them. However, I did send receipts from the other steelbook which has the EXACT same item name on them, so hopefully they don't check too closely. Although, there's only been two GB participants to respond saying they're interested in one, so number of copies should not be an issue. If worse comes to worst, I should get at least 10 copies of it.

Hey Ron (and if anyone else just happens to come across this LOL),

I wanted to give you an update on the replacement discs. For the last two weeks, I've been trying to send these schmucks over at Lions Gate pictures of my Best Buy receipts. I must've sent them a dozen different emails with the pictures attached.

Anyways, there response EVERY TIME has been something along the lines of, "Thank you for your email. We apologize, but we haven't received any pictures attached to your emails." I've tried sending them from my phone, my tablet, my desktop at home and ALWAYS the same response. Starting to wonder if maybe there's no such thing as a replacement disc LOL. I FINALLY got a response from them today giving me their fax number, so I'm going to attempt to fax them the pictures tomorrow and see what they have to say. If they don't receive them that way, then it's obvious there's something fishy going on.

Anyways, hope everything is well with everyone and you're all enjoying your steelbooks! Just wanted to give you guys a response since it's been awhile. But trust me, I'm trying my damndest to get these things for anyone who's interested.

Update for the DVD replacement discs...

Lionsgate has informed me that they've received me pictures, but the pictures I've sent them are not what they need. Since I ordered online, all the physical paperwork I had were the packing slips. Apparently, this isn't proof enough of purchase to them. Ugh! This is getting RIDICULOUS! I went online and took screenshots of my receipts from bestbuy.com and sent them those. Hopefully, those will suffice. Hoping I get an answer back from them today as well. As ALWAYS, I'll keep you guys updated as to their response...

Thanks Ron, but it's really not as bad as I make it seem. Just getting annoying as well as suspicious. They keep telling me they didn't get my pictures and then they FINALLY do, but they're the wrong pictures. I don't know, maybe it's just me. Hopefully they get the ones I sent to them this morning...

I'll need to wait to get them and weigh them along with the packaging before I can get a price. I'm assuming they will come in a single disc plastic case like the majority of replacement discs do. In that case, I can send them wrapped in some bubble paper and either in a small box or in a bubble mailer and it should be pretty cheap. I'm thinking/hoping $12-15 at the most.

As ALWAYS, I'll keep the thread updated...
