I agree, the front is the only reason I still have this on order. If they changed the front to the over familiar artwork, I'd have cancelled it.

New discs? Not likely! Since when have they improved the contents of any disc to match the improvement in packaging.

(By the way, i TOTALLY think they should - too many steels these days is the same old disc that's been available for yonks)

I can't remember any official source but I'm fairly sure StudioCanal confirmed that they would be fixing the pitch issue. Also, as SimonLDT points out in post #281, they will want to change the discs to add StudioCanal idents in place of the old Optimum ones anyway.

I tend to agree, I was just hoping for confirmation. I can't see them pressing repeats with a known disc flaw, but stranger things have happened.

I'm hoping this can be my last purchase of this film.

I love the drawn front artwork, but the back needs to change at all costs. It doesn't fit the front the slightest and resembles more the style of the CA Steelbook. I need something fresh and new for the back, just like the front. All artwork for it needs to fit the front, then it could be really amazing.

I hope the delay isn't due to Zavvi changing the front artwork, it's gorgeous and gives the steelbook a unique look.
I'm not bothered if the back is changed or not, perhaps they could use the pale man as inner art.

We can but hope! I understand Heat had sound issues on blu-ray... But they were never rectified upon steelbook re-release
