from dusk til dawn was different,much more popular film and the artwork people were going nuts for it at how good it was,everybody hated the artwork on this

True and thats why it's suspicious. Taxi Driver was also very popular, and supposedly had a 4k print run but didn't sell out for ages and had a massive price drop. This steelbook was met negatively and didn't have a massive price drop but still sold out. So basically the point I'm making is that these studiocanal releases are genuinely 4k print runs but others may not be.

Normally I'd agree, but I can only recall Zavvi steels coming back into stock suddenly when they were at the pre-order stage. Once they went live and subsequently sold out then it's rare for them to come back in stock again.

At least on Zavvis own site - as we saw with Aladdin and Nemo that they popped up on Zavvi Outlet via eBay and play. So that may be the only place to snag it going forward. We shall see. For all the hate, a lot of people bought this steel and it seems to be WEA so maybe it did better than expected?

Sold out on Zavvi... Sick that I didn't pull the trigger on this one.

I'm not sick about my decision to not pull the trigger. I feel pretty good about it. I have the gold academy award slip, which looks a lot better than this. I don't care if it's sold out or not.

... and just for the record, my rather sharp attitude about this stems back from day 1 of this steelbook announcement. I was as excited as anyone. But I really feel like Zavvi gave us the middle finger on this.

The more I look at the front of this steelbook in hand the more I love what they did with it. The finish and shine through is very subtle but very awesome.

The back artwork on the other hand....fail.
