Picked up 3 FuturePaks with this style artwork at Target today. Movies were Super 8, The Italian Job, and War of the Worlds. Can't find information online about these and not on their website.

The circle ruins the look imo

I could be wrong but I believe the circle is there to help prevent the embossing from having that pop effect we see on some of the cheaper poorly embossed steelbooks. Since the embossing is centralized and at various depths it should help.

BEWARE: all 6 of the copies I opened had QC issues under the j card in terms of scratches. However if you can find mint ones these are fantastic with nice gloss and terrific embossing.

I also have extras (listed in the Spoilers):

(I am looking for Star Trek 1 & 2, and Indiana Jones & The Temple of Doom)
All are sealed (and mint). PM me if you are interested. These are for sale, but I would consider trade if it was interesting. (Very little I don't have at this point.)

yeah still no eyes on WWZ that I know of
I've seen a picture of the WWZ... I have not, however, seen even a picture of a Scarface.
I gotta wonder...is anything gonna show up at Target on Monday or Tuesday? And when do they restock?
I heard a fella on another site say that they had the items in stock and jumped the gun and put them out & sold them in December!! Who the hell really knows what the real story is with this stealth, clandestine wave...

I DO know I am getting tired of driving all over creation looking for these in-store only releases!!
(And not finding the ones I want!)

A Star Trek sold on the bay for $43 about 2 hrs. ago...
(I need one- but not at that price)

lmbo!!! @C.C. 95 your post is quite funny. I'm not surprised @ the Stark Trek sale. It is because these things are tough to get. Add to the fact that Target uses the same DPCI with the amaray versions as well as each store having a different setup for their movie isle. I keep on seeing stuff I don't want: Hobbit 2, killing 'em softly, wolf of wall street, and Django Unchained.

I think I'm gonna have to seek help for Super 8 and War of the Worlds. Those look gorgeous and I love those films!

So while I was searching for some of the European NOVABOX editions of the Target Paramount Metalpaks (same thing-just in Europe...) I came across a Spanish site that had a DVD with this artwork...
(Not a movie in the Target Wave, but the art exists...and is obviously part of the 'theme' of the art of the Target wave...hmmm).

There's a Cloverfield out there with this art, too. Japan released a lot of titles with this circular artwork.
