Assuming it's the same as it's the same as the A24 disc. I don't think it's a transfer issue, I think it's a style choice by Ti West hence the differing picture quality for each film...

I fully understand there’s a choice of style with the grain and picture quality but something was just off. Didn’t feel right. Maybe because it felt more forced. Don’t have an issue with X or Pearl even though X is similar

I like the artwork for Pearl but The Maxxxine just doesn't look right, in my opinion. Loving the A24 edition despite it having its haters...
