We're starting off the week celebrating the life of an entertainer and human that has inspired us since childhood, Pee-wee Herman.
Like so many others after hearing the recent news of Paul Reubens' passing, we were devastated. Growing up with Pee-wee meant observing the whimsy in the world and adding your own magic to it. Pee-wee taught us, as both kids and adults, that imagination, fun, and being nice to each other are vital in this world.
Many years back, we released Pee-wee's iconic Schwinn DX Cruiser as a pin. Designed by Florey, the pin is still one of our favorites from our back catalog! To honor Pee-wee and his brave behind-the-scenes battle with cancer, we're releasing the pin once more with 100% of the profits going towards Stand Up To Cancer, a charity organization whose "mission is to raise funds to accelerate the pace of groundbreaking translational research that can get new therapies to patients quickly and save lives now."
