That slipcase would suit being a soft touch with some textured elements. I'd prefer matte finish as long as it's a really deep vibrant colour depth as well. It won't look good if it's dull.
It's pretty feckin hilarious that they want £79.99 for the post early bird order price. That's just utterly outrageous for a 4k only collectors edition. Absolute madness. Inflated for no good reason.
There's no contest if that's the choice. Must be a pre order.

Matte feels nice with a soft-touch, but colors don’t pop as much.
I switched to glossy paper years ago for my own prints, and the colors look way better.
My Perfect Blue Story Book from AllTheAnime was matte too, and the colors were a bit muted. Glossy would really make it pop.
I doubt they’ll do anything fancy with textures or finishes, they rarely do

Yeah even the lower price is a lot for what's included, especially when they take payment immediately. I already have the steelbook so I might just wait for a standard release to swap the disc. Unless by some miracle there's a significant price drop

Got mine this morning, really nice set! But a bit weird the actual movie comes in what feels like a bootleg Blu-ray case with no mention of 4k on it
