you sure bud? the actual disc has A/B/C printed right on it.

that's terribly misleading info if its actually locked to B only .

It's definitely Region B locked. I have a Multi Region player where you set the Regions individually via the remote & the disc will only play when set to Region B.

I agree that the info on the J card ... AND the actual disc is shockingly misleading :(

Been out for the day to legoland and arrive home to this beauty, absolutely love this really nice steel Cudos Zavvi for some great work again, looking forward to Hercules hopefully tomorrow

I think it's one of the better Disney steelbooks.

I'm not sure what Jiminy Cricket is standing on though. He's clearly not on the step and the shadow doesn't relate to anything, he's kind of floating just in front of the edge of it.

I never noticed that until now!
Since he's a bug, maybe he's sticking to the side of the step :dunno:

Mine arrived yesterday safe and sound despite Zavvi's awful packaging.

Reading far too much negativity, and wonder if the naysayers have actually seen one in hand.

Stop hitting me with those negative waves - It's excellent - paint, finish, and embossing are all up to par - feels solid in hand; unlike some embossed Steels - no probs whatsoever.

As far as the artwork goes I prefer best buys front artwork and zavvi's backart but overall zavvi's wins for me as I love both front and back. They are both beautiful steelbooks and I'm glad I finally own my favorite disney classic in steel:scat:

Best Buy version is the best by far. This would have been much better if it wasn't embossed.

Agreed, although both are nice, Best Buy trumped Zavvi with this movie release. No doubt about it. I won't be double dipping, too many other upcoming steels I would rather spend my money on.

best buy design is marginally better overall and since disney believes that people in america appreciate fully loaded 3 disc versions with awesome disc art more than people in the UK... well, best buy does take the trophy.

the real misstep zavvi/disney/(somebody??) made here was shortchanging the full package with a single blue disc. other than that, i think the artwork presented in this new version is one of the best disney steels yet from zavvi.

I'm from the UK, and I agree with what you said. Personally no disc art doesn't annoy too much, but with that said many Blu-ray discs all around the world are either grey or blue. You don't get disc art too often nowadays. Over here film distributers don't put the effort into releases like they used to. So many Disney films have sub-par transfers (Some BR's I've imported from the US have been far better than UK versions), DNR and lack the special features which don't get carried over from the DVD versions. Fox and the Hound, Sword in the Stone and The Incredibles are just three examples of lazy half-assed efforts. Even still Disney in the US seem to have a change in mind of whom they will short change next, the US market seems to missing a Frozen 3D Blu-ray release, what's up that?!

Not to mention we have a certain distributer who goes under the name of 'Entertainment in Video' don't even get me started on there output into the Blu-ray format. EEK!
