Thinking about it, I'm glad they left Pinocchio this long... if they'd released it earlier, then chances are it would've been matte like the others. I expect it to have the same artwork as the current Blu-ray amaray anyway, which isn't my favourite, but I can definitely live with it. Really looking forward to getting this one, finally!

this will probably be nice bcuz they went back to glossy, but there is about 0% chance this will approach the awesomeness of the BB/FS steel, which is of course one of the greatest steels ever, with 3 discs and separate art for each disc... glossy... not embossed, and WEA artwork.
that said... releasing a UK version of Pinocchio all these years later is a fair call by Zavvi. I hope they do right by it. This movie as a classic among classics.

This has never had a UK Steelbook release before so its a First time UK release

Yes, I think this is the best of the bunch. But I wouldn't mind a rehash of the us artwork, which would look beautiful with the right embossing. But I guess that would annoy a lot of collectors. Still, I've never seen better artwork on a Pinocchio release.
Very curious to see the artwork. Its going to be to hard to top the quality of the best buy and future shop version.

Got the best buy but it's region coded so perfect for me to pick up this version. And I just can't resist disney

There are a good few Disney Blu-ray titles (not Steelbooks) getting a Re Release in June with new Artwork

I hope zavvi do bring out snow white at some point.. I'd also wish that they would use that spanish art, that would look great on a glossy steelbook with english title.
I know pinnochio's artwork won't be as good as the one thats aleady out there (its perfect) but I am happy that I can buy the zavvi one at a fraction of the price and it'll be gloss
and I think they've done a great job of most of these disney steels so far.. I can't wait to see the artwork for this. On a side note, I hope they announce Bolt at some point tooI hope zavvi do bring out snow white at some point.. Can't be too far along for another rerelease. We're getting Sleeping Beauty again this year, so Snow White can't be too far off now.
Course, they're gonna have to go an extra mile on the extras. I loved the packed extras the original Sleeping Beauty and Snow White 2 disc blu rays had, though I'm better both rereleases will be one blu ray disc. :/
So when in the NINJA hell is this going to go live!

Maybe its a good sign that we dont have official artwork yet. Maybe it means they are taking their time and doing it right! After all this is the best Disney film ever
