I may be in the minority here, but I think embossing is overrated. It works with some steelbooks, but it can sometimes ruin the image and overall elegance of it. This couldve worked if the title banner was smaller due to that forced frame applied to embossed steelbooks, then it would lined up with the frame. Too many borders going on here, I can handle, the front, maybe even the back, but the inside artwork having top and bottom borders is really unnecessary. These couldve been a really nice alternative to the originals.

A few people I know have only received 2 and 3??

So did some people actually get this one?

I've only received the first one, not the other two. Zavvi's distribution methods are a mystery to me, and I have no idea why some people receive theirs before I do. It's not like I live in the Scottish Highlands or anything!

I would also like to state that I was initially opposed to Zavvi making pre-orders go live separately. I would much rather have ordered all three together and be done with it, rather than have three separate orders on what is already an overcrowded orders page. Likewise, I would have preferred these to have all been shipped together in one package. Why is that beyond Zavvi's comprehension? Amazon manage to offer this service, so why can't Zavvi?

At least this release wasn't like Clerks, where a handful of people got it months before the release date.

I think my set is waiting for me to collect from my local sorting office, so I will pick mine up after work

Received mine to day aaaand there's a big dent in the top... shiver me timbers. Contacted Zavvi and we'll see how we go. Shame really as it looked like the pick of the bunch. Watched "Dead Man's Chest last night again, jeez what a mess of a film, the CGI on Davey Jones is still incredible though.

The answer is quite simple, Derek, and his associated hamster friends who run the packing department have quite obviouss limitations on the size of packaging they can physically handle ;):naughty:

Oh yeah,, By the way - my copy arrived this morning - nice and shiny; all in al quite happy with all three of them.

Interesting that none of these came back into stock before despatch - really makes you think there aren't many left - and they're hanging on for possible damage returns.

It'll be interesting how they reply to me as they're trying to flog them for £50 now.
That not possible at the moment as this and the other 2 are still sold out

Until this come back in stock that price showing on the website means noting as price could be different if it does come back in stock
