There's already been a UK steel release for POTC 4, so I doubt Zavvi will be re-releasing it. The first 3 will be a nice addition for those that don't already have them, but I do hope special features are included. I don't see it selling out though.

Star Trek XI, Thor, Captain America, Avatar, I Robot, Life Of Pi, Predator and Prometheus could all suggest otherwise. But it seems strange that they wouldn't announce it at the same time though.

@zoneism, your examples are accurate, but since no announcement, I don't think they'll be re-releasing POTC 4.

Zavvi have released 205 Steelbooks to date, and their first release was on 25th March 2014 which was 290 days ago.

If you take out weekends, Zavvi have basically released 1 Steelbook per day.

It's safe to say that they are likely to release these all on the same day!

That's crazy and amazing on another level

But now I won't be motivated to go after the FutureShop ones

More than happy with my Canadian Steelbooks so pass for me. Money saved I suppose.

Also, I imagine these will be bare bones single disc editions (like Indiana Jones) and will be missing the bonus discs (which my Canadian copies include)

I wouldn't mind seeing a re-release of Strange Tides as it has text on the back. I often see them in CEX for a couple of quid but can't bring myself to buy it!

On Stranger Tides was the weakest for me. These films are quite long anyway, but I found that one dragged the most. Not as action packed as the others for me.

I won't be surprised if Zavvi gets On Stranger Tides at a later point. Might be trying to get a deal for that to include the 3D version of the movie. That or there already is a deal but Zavvi are just announcing the trilogy first for whatever reason.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the Indiana Jones trilogy get announced before the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull steel did?
