Play are giving us more and more reasons to consider them the best online retailer around at the moment.

Play are giving us more and more reasons to consider them the best online retailer around at the moment.

Except that HMVs version is rubbish in my opinion, lol. They only offer limited things, a discount on future orders like this from Play.com would be much better.

Haha yeah, I forgot to mention that. Although I have actually got quite a few decent things from HMV using my Pure Points... got two largish framed Toy Story 3 pictures for my niece a couple of years ago, and then recently I got a personalised framed Matrix DVD, which basically came with the disc, DVD art, and a plaque, which is all nicely displayed inside a frame.

Still, I have to agree with you... Play's way of doing it is much better!

This was my question too - do we need to cancel pre-orders and re-ordered them to qualify - it says you can see points in pending/provisional statement, but nothing showing for pre-orders ...

naaw i like HMV points, i normally save them up for money off in store purchases, dont take too long to save them up either.

OK well I've had a little test.

All of my existing pre-orders were not credited with any points.

So I ordered some more and these have now appeared on the points pending statement page.

Cancelled or my existing pre-orders and re-ordered - a pain and all for £4 worth of points, but 'every little helps'!
