Both Mulan and Pocahontas releases in the US had part 1 & 2 on the same disc. I too find it lame to even consider this and others like the Rescuers as it is a downgrade in content. If anything, I'd just be interested in the case.

Wait. Some people buy Steelbooks for the media content? If that's what's important why ever spend the extra money for the case? I love Steelbooks for the Steelbook. If they sold empty cases I would still buy them up. I think I have ten on my shelf with no discs still.

God forgive me, but every time I hear or read the name Pocahontas I can't help but think of women's breasts. As in, "She's got a nice pair of pocahontas."

Now back on topic. This is a beautiful design but I still can't bring myself to pre-order it given Zavvi's current packaging.

Here in the US, we get the "2-Movie Collection" releases for many films that have had sequels. But Disney doesn't seem to put them out in the UK like they do here. Since titles are usually released separately in the UK, the steelbook is a single movie as well. Another example would be Fantasia/Fantasia 2000.

Personally I'm happy we don't get the sequels, they were nearly universally awful cash grabs. I like my covers unsullied I'm fully expecting this one to get knocked back a few weeks though.
