Just saw this picture on Amazon.fr. It's from Warner, and the pix clearly shows a kind of metal box like the one for "Once upon a time in America".

Release date of September 21, 2011.

From my understanding, boitier métal is a term that is interchangable with a metal box and other metal packaging - not just a steelbook in France.

Given that the pack art is still the same as we saw previously, and pictures of Once Upon A Time In America confirm an oversized metal box (and not a steelbook) I would caution any members prior to purchasing to see actual pictures of the product first.

This just landed on my desk (Thanx Amz.fr) My desk stood up to the shock as it was accompanied by Matrix Trilogie. For the heathens among us, it is 8"x5 3/4"x1 1/4"; it is truly massive and dwarfs even the JB HiFi Narnia box. Only the AC/DC "Let There Be Rock" is thicker !! For the Europeans among us, it is 20.5cm x 15cm x 3.3cm. "POINT BREAK" is also embossed.

Yeah thought you'd like some news, sorry it wasn't better. Might actually crack Point Break open but Matrix is nice and pleasant change to have English titles (embossed at that) on the front, use my HD DVD's if I want an HD Matrix evening.
