Mine was only dispatched today, but should hopefully be here tomorrow with Prime delivery.
Got this today along with Whisper of the Heart. Pointless observation but the last two both had blue spines and these two are muted red. Is there a preferred order for these to the steel book release order then?
No observation is pointless as far as steelbooks are concerned and my observation is that the lovely spine colours are designed to match the colours of the titles on the steelbook fronts (and the J-cards
) and to go back a step, looking at the artworks, it's not hard to see that the colours of the titles have been picked out from the artworks.This group of eight for example:-

For something a bit different but with similar roundel style artwork - and this against what could be a white gloss background - there's the upcoming Studio Ghibli FUTUREPAK collection of 20 titles from France all with French print on the front (not unreasonably):-
Not forgetting the words from a manager of Novobox concerning his FuturePak product - that it's better than a steelbook and weighs in at 170 grammes against 135 for the steelbook and also that the tinplate is thicker - 0.25 mm against 0.21 mm - allowing more scope for 3D embossing etc.

Comparison with the FuturePak from France . . . with the main difference, apart from the obvious steelbook vs. FuturPak and domestic titles, being the white background vs. the silver. . . for folks crying out for a white background on the UK steelbook able to judge between the two:-

I hope the UK follows suit & releases these futurepaks as some of the artworks are far superior to the UK ones & I prefer that white background to the bare silver the UK ones have.
