Printed backs are not that big deal for me. But then again, why should a German release not have German on it? English is my language but i will not be ignorant and expect other nations to cater to my preferred language as some suggest here. I may be in the minority here but I do not mind printed backs at all. I do also care less for j cards as I open most of my steels so printed backs are welcome IMO. This will probably look amazing and I will be glad to own it :scat: Long live German lentils. Quality all the way.

Give me a J Card any day. No inside art is bad enough but it can be fixed, text and printed barcodes can't. Let the artwork shine :)

^This.

I have nothing against German steelbooks with printed backs. I dislike printed backs with all steelbooks - what a wasted opportunity :ohno:

So this is where Zavvi have been going wrong all of this time. :hilarious:

I like these German lenticulars but the printed backs are a let down as are the prices. Why would you prefer a load of boring text over a nice image? I wish we got these lenticular releases in the UK because they would have art on the back, would be cheaper and would be easier to obtain (not just for UK collectors either). Until then the French releases are the best option. The French version of Epic is better than the German version simply because of the clean back and I'm sure it will be the same story with The Croods. They are much cheaper too which is nice.

Still thinking of joining the gb - even with all it's caveats it still has a great looking cover. All the writing on the front and spine is the same as it would be if it had been released in UK. May just have too ignore the back on this one :ohno:

Trust me.. you'll be happy to get this for $29Euro in a few months when its OOP and selling for $80+ on Ebay.

This looks to be pretty sweet. I already have the Play.com Predator.. but its one of my favorite movies. I will have to fight the urge to upgrade. :ohno:

and which mm lenticular exactly costs 80€+ ?

i can get avatar for ~50€ and the rest at cost

Problably not in Canda ;)

Yeah, not from here. The only way is group buy or ebay unfortunately so it makes us have to grab them right away. I still need to get a pred 2 steel so I don't know if I should wait of just grab the one that's out already.

Thats bcuz you live in Germany bro. For us here in Canada be LUCKY if we get The Avatar for $90. Otherwise its $100 and up for the most part.

But is yours 3D????? you know you are going to buy it like the rest of us double dippers lol so just give in. (well if I count everything I bought this on VHS twice, got two dvd editions and two bluray editions and then the steel so this is a 7th for me.

I'm doing pretty well fighting it right now :D

Just sold my Avatar 3D MM Lenticular. Have quit collecting steels. I do absolutely love predator thou, so if this does come with a remastered transfer I'll be able to justify the upgrade. What makes the steel soo appealing is the artwork and color scheme is totally different than the Play.com version, but still nice.
