I had hoped that the 2D Version would also get a new transfer but since the packaging already says that the 2D Blu-ray is the Ultimate Hunter Edition that hope was crushed but the Steelbook sure looks nice. I especially like the back.

I haven't watched it but on another forum someone has said it's the same waxy version as was previously released. Didn't comment on the 3d itself though.

I watched this last night. They have actually done a really good with the 3d conversion only negative thing is its deffo the hunter edition DNR version so be prepared for some waxwork looking stars

the lenticular and the whole steelbook look incredibly good, but if the movie is the same DNR wax version, i will save my money on something better to come in the next months.

Yep I just got a message off Bill Hunt from thedigitalbits website and he has been in touch with Fox and confirms it is the UHE edition used for the 3D transfer .... so much for the spokesperson for Fox who said it was a new transfer
