Received mine today and its a real beauty....i buy my steelbooks for display and viewing pleasures....so deffo will be unsealed.

I received 7 new steelbooks from Play today and Predator is the only one which is damaged.

Given there new Steelbook packaging methods there is no way this could have happened during delivery. It must have been damaged already and they didn't notice

It's like a paint defect along the top of cover!!! On both sides!!!

Gutted!!!:(

gotta be one of the best steelbooks going...received all of mine today and all were mint..im well happy!:Dwell done play!!

Great quality, great looking, unbeatable price :D :D :D

Does anyone know if play.com ships to the us because Ive hear mixed answers. If they don't does anyone know how to get the rockbottom prices like play.com because Im located in the Us. Thanks in advance.

Unless someone managed to get you one in a group buy there's not a lot you can do. You can't have everything I'm afraid. I've been getting ripped off trying to get a good price on Best Buy and Futureshop exclusives over here for years :(

Predator and Braveheart in my opinion are the best ones from the Fox Wave. Puts the previous printedback/no inside art/printed ratings steels to shame! I just hope they re-release predators so I can get rid of it and predator 2 as well.

As others have said, Play do NOT ship to the US unfortunately - however, that's where this wonderful community comes into it's own - hang around for a while, contribute to the forum, make some posts and generally get yourself some rep and before long you'll know some UK Ninjas that will no doubt be able to help you out (or you can join the GB when they are offered) - in return you can help UK based Ninjas source those US items we can't get shipped here :)

Got quite a few like this today - not great really for those that keep their steelbooks sealed!

I wonder why Play.com or even Futureshop from Canada do not ship to the U.S.A? Although i don't like their packaging i've been lucky so far & no damaged steelbooks from HMV. They ship to the states with no problems. So yeah i had to wind up getting my copy of Predator on ebay yesterday from a seller in the U.K. But i guess it could be worse. I was reading some of the other post about the outrageous shipping fees that Amazon.Japan charges. An example i read a $35 steelbook after shipping fees & taxes could run into the $100+ range delivered to the states YIKES!!

That card is a pain in the ass, but I don't buy my movies to sit on the shelf all sealed up :naughty:

Received mine yesterday and just got round to opening them up, these are very nice steelbooks without the high price ... much better than the amaray release.

Anyone know if Play.com will replace steelbooks with knife mark on the spine :(, guessing some one at play got excited when opening up the packaging.

Looks like both my Taken & Predator have knife marks on the spine.

Just think of it like this - best buy doesn't ship internationally either. lost shipments abroad, damaged items - that's a lot of hassle for any retailer, especially one that can't even ship domestically.

In the future, check our group buy section when you get enough posts, there are many experienced sellers on here - and I've hardly seen any steelbook go for that much straight off a group buy.

Feel free to pm if you have questions.

Anyone know if this is the "wax work" version or a new print? I only picked mine up from the post office today and debating whether to keep it seeled or not.
