They do send a separate invoice for shipping and you do have a choice on how they ship it to you.

i was very happy with jsdvd shipping was fast ... boxed and bubble-wrap ...thumbs up from me ... this is another release with a nice slip .. you have to admire the asian slips .. just look at the avengers

When you guys say slip cover, is it actual slip cover (ie. The Girl With Dragon Tattoo Amazon JP version) or is it just cardboard backing with small area of cardboard on the front (ie. Most Avengers steel releases)?

It's a 1/4 slip like the Avengers.

Those things? I usually throw those away because there's a potential of them scratching the Steelbook as you move the Steelbook in and out of them. Also, if the slip is stickied to the steelbook using removable glue, there's a likelihood of the glue sticking into the steelbook or causing the paper part of the cardboard boxes to stick onto the steelbook. This is especially the case if you store the steelbook in an area where the temperature alternate between hot and cold.

A lot of people like the way the slips look and they also differentiate the Steelbook from other versions. A lot of people don't open them too as Henke already said!
