It probably is fan art - doesn't help things that they keep posting this kind of stuff.

Ap-yep-the art and pics posted for this keep getting changed at their FB page and site. The important thing for everyone to remember is to wait to make any purchasing decision. This will likely appear elsewhere....don't buy based on temp art, or you may be disappointed.

Sunny, yes, and about time the series gets some hype in Steels-been waiting for YEARS for separate Alien Steels in G2 (begged and begged Futureshop Buyer years ago to pursuade Fox,haha), can't wait for this-whatever cover, I am in for this bebe!

i think it's a safe bet that steelbook releases will be released worldwide for this one. should have some pretty impressive artwork.

I do not think Fox already knows about a coming steelbook release as the the movie will only be in theaters from August...why should anyone know about a steel version?

It really hono(u)rs the people who like to use Adobe or whatever to create great artworks and I know that there are lots of people working for particular companies and who still read facebook posts - maybe such information will get to the important departments that decide whether to produce something like this or that - e.g. steelbooks. Fox would be quite stupid if they didn't release a steelbook for Prometheus.

Funk, since the movie release dates vary across countries, and it takes some time to coordinate production, home video releases come out much faster than they use to (in some cases only a few months after theatrical release), it's likely already being planned....
