None of these NM Tarantino slips is jaw-dropping so far, but as a collection, they will look very nice displayed all together.

Slip A, no doubt. Went for slips A for Kill Bill and Dogs, and this one is the only that stylistically fits in that line. Ready to order, and when I receive it, I'll start bothering them with Jackie Brown. :smug:

I will gladly join you , or Inglourious Basterds or Django Unchained :cigar: can´t wait for these....but Im pretty sure Nova has already a plan to do most of QT movies, so Im pretty optimistic here :coffee:

I just can’t seem to appreciate it the way others do. This movie was a huge deal to me and I guess I’m a bit literal in my way of thinking. I don’t want brown paper because QT likes westerns and I don’t want Jules to look like promotional photos, I want him to look like he did in the film I saw and that blew me away in college like no other film ever had. Especially on the front of an exclusive that I will have until I die.

A isn’t exactly perfect but it was the one the first caught my eye so I will be getting that one even though, as I said, I would almost certainly get the lenti if Jules had his afro, not because I think it’s a more attractive slip than A but because it includes more of the cast and, by default, kind of would represent the movie best.
Then you found the best choice for you! We don’t all think the same. A is growing on me too but I think the back art is weird.

Jesus Christ, it's Reservoir Dogs all over again right after I posted my previous message. Slip A is the least awful one (even with that back), but it's an easy pass.

A shame, it starts to seem like I'll never get a NM Tarantino release.

Im disappointed how much disappointment are those slips meet with o_O:grumpy: .

To me all looking great and I appreciate Nova´s effort. Only weird thing is the back of slip A :bored: and Jule´s missing afro in lenti image, but in overall I feel all the slips and to be honest Im seriously thinking of Oneclick here because it is one of my TOP 5 movies of all time.

Slip A - front is just gorgeous , back could have been different but overall I like it a lot so If not OC this will be my choice probably
Slip B - like many already have said, it fits the other B Nova slips nicely, but unlike the others I feel also this one even despite the "western" look of it, to me it fits the Tarantino himself as a director who loves westerns :D. Btw at first I thought that there is written all Ezekiel 25:17 on the front, that would be awesome :cigar:

Slip C - love both the images used, one of the most iconic posters, and lenti with switching afro would be hilarious @jonnybobbytimmy :hilarious::hilarious:

My two cents  again Im really sad about how many of you don´t like these slips, but I thank Nova for this release and it will sell out anyway so from this point of view Im happy for Nova :coffee:

Bring on the preorders! :cigar:
Finally, a comment that "really made sense"..agree 100%

It may not be official, but I’m certain slip A is director approved artwork.

Slip A gives me a Kimchi Fifth Element (Leeloo) FS vibe. Not really a fan of the other slips, though. The B slips just haven’t done much for me across Nova’s Tarantino run.

The drama, at least for me, is over. I bought A. :)
Glad to hear that you could make a decision. :)
Bet you will be very happy with it.

Usually I order from Nova directly, but this time I am thinking about the GB.
Will Nova shipping the GB orders with the "normal" direct orders or will it take some more days like in some other GBs? @Aniv

Meh... another case of poor slips from Nova. Why is it so hard for them to deliver good artwork on these QT releases? I haven't loved a single one of them yet. (n)

The lenti is probably my favourite, but I've been getting the full slips so far, so I'd like to keep it that way... I'll probably go with A, maybe? :dunno:

To everyone in this thread, the afro isn't missing on slip C, it's just part of the lenticular effect, move it and the afro is toggled on and off

yay well we have to find something to joke about right? :naughty:

Don't think I've ever seen a better selection of very different slipcases for any steelbook so far . . . all equally good . . . would be difficult to choose any one out of these as they all work v.well.

As for the steelbook: pity they changed the back with Uma as that design and colour scheme complemented the front so well ... but I suppose the famous dance scene should be represented somewhere on the package ...
Is this the best PF steelbook out there? No, not quite. Second best? Yes. Best PF steelbook remains the UK steelbook.

Just for fun, a quick rundown of previous PULP FICTION steelbooks.

Very best PULP FICTION steelbook would be this . . . with one addition . . .

. . . the UK two-tone spine - to connect the front cover with the back (NM logo could've been black. n'est-ce pas?)

The artwork on slip A makes me wish they'd stuck with the original back image for the steel even more, since it uses a similar art style and is from the same scene in the film.

By the way... their lentis are no longer the o-ring slips, correct? If so, I'll possibly go for the lenti after all!

This.

That lenti is just awful! Willis just superimposed on there.

Full slip A all the way for me. Going to look amazing in hand
God damn it, I've only just noticed that... is he meant to be kneeling next to the bed, because he certainly can't be standing since the proportions are all wrong!

Now I've gone off the lenti  lol.

I know, its terrible.

They should have just left it as it was used in the back of the UK steelbook....

I don't know why they feel Willis should be all over this anyway. He's not even the main character in the film. He even gets his own rear cover on Full slip B! Harvey Keitel had as much screen time and you don't see him anywhere! Could it be a contractual thing?
