I know it's relevant to the movie, surprised the film studio approved the cocaine sniffing scene for the artwork though.

Maybe we'll get a Basic instinct exclusive with the infamous beaver still as the back artwork lol

It's just the draft pending approval.

I'm glad the dogs front title and back art changed but I hope they keep the cocaine art on this.
If it does change then hopefully to the original poster art (which is still illustrated but coloured slightly different) a bit like they have done with the back art for dogs.

I reakon one of the slips will feature Jackson and travolta in iconic image holding their guns out or possibly a "Bad Mother F*cker" wallet style slip. That would be very cool

I couldn't stand the play .com one because of the bad Jackson photoshop. Very badly done lol and still can't believe that ever got approved. I'm surprised he wasn't also holding a purple light saber

@Noodles dont suppose you have a mock up design?
I'm afraid I don't this time mate. I tried making one a while back, but couldn't come with anything decent for the back because I try to stick to using official poster art, and the majority of it is pretty bad for this film unfortunately.

Fair enough Nick, your mock ups are always the best.

The UK back was an official promo poster "I have it", a fair few of the original promotional material has him without the wig mate

Wow the steelbook looks absolutely gorgeous! Can't wait to get this, this is one of my 2 favourite movies!

Really like my UK PULP FICTION steelbook . . . one of my all-time favourites from back in the day . . . but I've got to admit this new design has the edge:
- As with the UK steelbook front it's from a original poster . . . this one with better positioning of the names of the cast utilising the dead space to Uma's right and at the same time not intruding much on the artwork
- Clear unobstructed title unlike the one from the UK
- Better yellow print for the cast names matching the colour of the title and more in keeping with the old vintage cheap-as-chips book look.
- Better back art . . . also from an original poster . . . and even better in the same strong colours as the front.
- Printed ratings logos absent here which is something I honestly didn't mind as kind of fitting in with the similar sized "10¢" price tag).

Only one thing I miss of the original and would change is the red banner on the front stopping at the spine on the new one.
As a fan of the two-tone spine on the original I'd continue the red over the new steelbook spine and then continue it on to the back behind Uma but at the same level as on the front giving a sense of unity across the covers.

Potentially a classic steelbook.

It's said you can never have too much Uma Thurman but I'd prefer to see Travolta and Jackson in classic PULP FICTION pose as BACK art . . .

Of course the screenplay for PULP FICTION was written in the early '90s but as we all know the inspiration is from an earlier time . . . as is the artwork.
Pulp fiction being the name for those magazines printed on the cheapest of paper aka 'pulp paper' with the one standout feature being the beautifully colourful covers often depicting gorgeous gals in various states of undress.
Took over from the dime novels of the late 19th Cent. and precursor of paperbacks and comic books which started to take over during the years of WW II and beyond due to paper rationing and the increased cost of paper.
Several well-known authors started writing for these mags including Ray Bradbury, Dashiell Hammett, H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Rice Burroughs and so on:-

This is going to be my first Nova without a doubt. (I know, I know. I'll shut the door in my way out)

Any idea when we'll likely hear more info on release/pre-order etc.
