I just completed an order for Reservoir Dogs. I didn't know whether to go with A or the Lenti.
Since I don't really care for A or B for Pulp Fiction I'm going with the Lenti. I don't mind the non-afro, or Bruce Willis shoved in there. Also I've read comments here saying that Nova's lentis are good.

So for that reason i went with the Reservoir Dogs lenti.

This is the first time I have ordered anything from Nova. I normally would've just ordered the 1/4 slips but I find that their prices are quite reasonable compared to others (Blufans, HDZeta, FAC) and for only $4.00 more US for a slip? Easy decision.

So this will be the first time I actually open a slip to get to the steelbook. :ohno:

Next step will be ordering 1-click box and then open the box to get to the slip:)

I haven't been able to do that. For that reason I sold off the only 2 OC's I ever purchased.
Blufans' GOTG Vol. 2 and Rogue One.

However I may now finally open up the lenti slip for Blufans' The Force Awakens which is the only full slip I own of a steelbook. :dunno:

Wanted the lenticular but now I'm fixated on Jackson's hair (lack of) and Willis's odd image. Not sure I'd be happy. Don't like slip B and don't buy 1/4 slips so that leaves A which is just ok IMO. Don't care for reverse side of A. All that said, do love the movie. Wish the choices were better.

There's a story regarding the steelbook front image maybe not universally known that may possibly be of interest to PULP FICTION fans. ...
The original poster - seen here and referred to as the "Lucky Strike Poster" - had a pack of Lucky Strike cigs just in front of Mia's right elbow leading to the makers of said ciggies threatened to take Miramax to court ... also the matter of the book cover "Harlots in her Heart" for which permission also hadn't been granted ... leading to changes to both items on later posters and the destruction of many of the originals with reportedly fewer than 50 surviving today.

Original posters:-

$1,000 - $2,000 for the original posters not unusual.

Steelbooks with this front image retain much of the original poster image ... with subtle differences ... the pulp fiction magazine under Mia's left hand is now a paperback book entitled "Pulp Fiction" (lol) ... with the "Harlots in her Heart" cover making its way onto the back of the Play.com steelbook (this type of magazine of course served as inspiration for QT's film) ...
The cigarette packet now bears a generic label instead of the classic brand "Lucky Strike" ... although unable to zoom in enough to read the revised generic print:-

Unfortunately only got one packet remaining of those soft pack Luckies imported from The States in the '90s.

Not forgetting some of the homage posters:-

Decided to go with Lenti. Although also a slip with «flaws», it’s been used as a poster and is the cover that says Pulp Fiction to me the most. Slip A was good, but didn’t like the back and it didn’t give me any vibe of the movie. B slip is probably my favourite art really, but don’t want the paperback style for this. I chose that for Kill Bill 1&2 but don’t have any desire to get more in the same style.

I’m pretty sure this will be no problem ordering direct when it goes up but went with GB anyway, simply to support the offering. Thanks @Aniv, the opportunities to secure copies here are much appreciated!

Just noticed that the image on the banner on my wall is a mirror image or reversed.

Sorry for the stupid question, but I wonder how come Samuel L. Jackson doesn't have an afro on the lenti?

The new brand of the cigarettes is Red Apple, a brand you will find a lot in Quentin Tarantino movies (obviously they smoke them in Pulp Fiction, too)
