hi and apologies if I'm in the wrong sub section

was wondering if anyone can help me out, I have Transformers 1 play.com steelbook and am after the revenge and dark side. I cannot seem to locate any versions of these two with English writing on them. There are a couple of German versions kicking around on Ebay, does anyone have these versions, are they in German or English and do they have artwork on the inside ???


did USA ever release the other two in steelbook format ?

a couple of pics from members that have these would be much appreciated.

I don't think there were any US releases for any of the Transformers movies in Steelbook format. Futureshop (Canada) released Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen as a steelbook. As for the third movie, I don't think there were any Futureshop releases for that.

There are English title releases for Transformers 2 & 3. Transformers 2 would be the steel from Future Shop. Transformers 3 got a global artwork release in many countries but USA was not one of them.

managed to acquire the Dark of the Moon so now it seems the only option for Revenge of the Fallen is the Canadian Future Shop version wonder how much that one is going for ???

...might want to wait a bit, if you dont mind play's half assed 1 disc releases.

TF2 ROTF from FS is pretty expensive. You can have some luck once in a while on Ebay, but as SaberTooth said, Wreck (our steel guru) said that maybe in the future, Play.com would release both TF movies... only time will tell...

But you've got to see how good the Future Shop edition looks... it's stunning!

I see what you mean, just popped into the Sale/Trade threads and Jason Bourne has a one for sale for $160 . Maybe one day one of our American/Canadian friends might want a trade for something I have

Wrong actually there was two versions of the first Transformers film a protect and destroy variation that was a FYE exclusive in steelbook. There also was a Revenge of the Fallen in steelbook that was also a FYE exclusive, I own both of them. I probably should mention they are G1 but there was US versions of steelbooks for both the first two films. They did not do the third film and I have wanted to complete the collection but dang it 1 G2 and 2 G1s would look odd.

Come to the Darkside join us in the beauty of G1 steelbooks as well.

If you keep an eye on ebay it sometimes has them.
