Isn`t US version shorter then the one shown in Europe except uk? Rambo saves some people in the opening scene?
I saw someone say that the versions we got in the UK - the American version - was missing the rescue scene at the start of the movie, BUT it seems that the European cut with that scene included actually edits some of the violence at the end of the film including cuts to the final fatality. If that's true then I'd prefer to get the more violent US cut with the rescue scene included as a deleted scene. Or include both cuts! It kinda sounds believable, as I think Rambo 4's director's cut did much the same - extend the film while edit the violence.

That's what I call out of the ordinary - still doing his thing at over seventy . . . looking less like Victor Mature in later life although his way of talking and mannerisms still remind me of the former:-

True, it's poster art but TBH prefer the other image . . . even more if in colour ...

...although I get it that they've maybe gone for continuity with the stark monochrome 2006 film steelbook ...

... and that they may also be going for another wraparound design a la LOCK UP:-

Hope you all got your preorders in while it was $32.99 as the price is now showing $34.99

The back cover just looks odd when viewed on its own.

Fine when it's opened up as a spread. But how often do you open both covers to display/have a look.....?

Was leaning toward the french version of this for the 101 minutes, but after learning other parts are missing on that release maybe I'll just kick back and wait for the Extended Edition on steelbook that should be coming our way shortly. Hard call.
