That is one confusing/idiotic press release or twitter message. The irony is I've had to google this guy's name and it quickly came to my attention he's won the Razzle not one but 3 times. If anything, this new movie and the controversy created may even get me to watch his Rampage!RE: TITLE
According to IMDb the silly title RAMPAGE: BIG MEETS BIGGER is for Germany and the Nordic countries … reason seems more to do with German film director Uwe Boll than for any other reason - he's not a happy bunny with the RAMPAGE title …The German filmmaker didn’t keep the grudge to himself but took it out on Twitter to trash RAMPAGE. He also failed to choose his words while speaking/writing: “F*** this new fake RAMPAGE movie. Uwe Boll is going to sue Warner Bros. A**h***. Totally serious. Will update soon.”

To be precise - according to Deadline (31st March, 2018)
"Known for adapting video games for film, Uwe Bol isn’t too happy with Warner Bros. and New Line’s upcoming action pic RAMPAGE starring DWAYNE JOHNSON. The German director released a Rampage trilogy of his own starting in 2009 and in a statement released on his website, it is said he is pursuing legal action against the studio for “using his brand.”"
Full statement,
"We are living now in a world where Independent Movies are dead and the big players only are making all the money. That they then use developed brands and ideas from established series such as my Rampage films in order to make even more money is unfair but typical. The new RAMPAGE movie will shrink my brand and my revenues I can make in the future with my RAMPAGE movies. It also confuses the audience! I want that WARNERS change the title, especially because the new movie has nothing to do with a RAMPAGE and looks more like Jumanji 2 and is one of those typical feelgood, popcorn bullshit movies that the studios use to brainwash America even more! All these kind of movies including Transformers, Avengers are helping the military industrial complex in America to win and have retards like Trump be American President who would say that the earth is flat as soon they think they can benefit from this!
Boll released his first Rampage movie in 2009 which was followed by 2014’s Rampage: Capital Punishment and 2016’s Rampage: President Down. The movies do not share the storyline of Warner Bros’ adaptation of the monster sci-fi video game, but Boll says that the new movie will “shrink” his brand and the money he can make with his future Rampage movies. He also adds, “It also confuses the audience!”
Some of the title variations (some better than others) used in other territories including:-
RAMPAGE: DEVASTATION / TOTAL DESTRUCTION (Latin America)
RAMPAGE: ANIMAL FURY (Italy & Poland)
RAMPAGE: OUT OF CONTROL (France & Portugal)
RAMPAGE: DESTRUCTORS / THE DETROYERS (Czech Rep. and Bulgaria)
RAMPAGE: ABSOLUTE CHAOS / TOTAL CHAOS (Greece and Croatia)
RAMPAGE: SHREDDERS (Estonia)
PROJECT RAMPAGE (Spain)
RAMPAGE (USA, UK, Russia, Ukraine,
Personally wouldn't mind RAMPAGE: APE FURY … play on the words "Fury's ape" from classic Brit flic BLANCHE FURY (1948).
Unlike the Amaray releases for the UK … with the proper title - RAMPAGE - the WWA Steelbook appears to have bowed to Boll's threats:-

All seems very silly, absurd even ... with the film based on a 1986 arcade game and clearly no relation to Boll's RAMPAGE trilogy (2009 - 2014).
Irony of the situation being that Herr Bol is famous for filmed videogame adaptations (THE NAME OF THE KING, BLOODRAYNE etc.).
Seriously !?That is one confusing/idiotic press release or twitter message. The irony is I've had to google this guy's name and it quickly came to my attention he's won the Razzle not one but 3 times. If anything, this new movie and the controversy created may even get me to watch his Rampage!
