They clearly state that this item is available to ship only to India and Sri Lanka though, so Apedemak is right. Maybe a call to them may help, but not guaranteed.

Oh yes, noticed at the bottom. I have as well never used infibeam, as long as thing is available at flipkart. So I also do not know about their service. Though for us guys in India, They offer Cash of delivery, so that's very secure.

I wouldn't try any of these sites as we could get stung by customs. GB is the ideal option to people in the EU / UK.
Again, I cannot vouch for Infibeam, But I can vouch for Rhythmhouse.in. I just sent one steelbook to one member here via them. I will share my feedback as well, once he receives it.
Also If you want international delivery feedback for that site, iirc member named mrbart_boy at BD forum has used their service quite a number of times (IMO). I saw in some of his post mentioning about the site.
One of my friends from Mumbai regularly makes purchases there. He has always praised their service.
Though I understand that international shipping is whole new ballgame.

If a member were to help, I would be interested in a copy, thanks!
DB, Wait for Rhythmhouse to list it. They ship internationally. If you are feeling little bit speculative about them, which I can understand, I will order for you from here, and get it shipped to you as a gift. You can pay me once you receive it.

Clicky, so far just this one and another, I think? Thanks everyone for offering to help each other. If any of our individual members decide to help with a group buy, please post that you've opened a Group Buy thread in this thread, so members can sign up if they like. Thanks all! :scat:

Thanks crossbow but my point is from a customs perspective and not about the authenticity of the retailer.

1500 INR = 18 GBP which is 3 GBP above the customs limit. This means we have to pay 20% of 1500 INR + shipping cost + 8 GBP handling fee to Royal Mail or 11 GBP if parcel is handled by Parcel Force.

Oh, that handling fee alone will definitely increase the cost significantly.
Shipping by Indian Post EMS to UK should be 8-9 GBP for sure.
Even If parcel is sent as a gift, Fee and customs structure would be same for UK?

Shipping Indian Post EMS to UK is about Rs 1,000 - roughly about £12-13, depending on the exchange on the day.

This would be ideal. If anyone is doing a GB for this, I would be in for 2 or 3.
I may contact the relevant sites and see if I can get this...

What sort of print runs would these Indian steelbooks get ?

That's a fantastic question. I have no idea really, but thinking about it brings forth the following facts:
1. Not many people in India own blu-ray players
2. A tiny fraction of these know about steelbooks
3. Indian movies are targeted to a niche segment outside India
These would make me think the quantity has to be rather limited.

If they ran more than the minimum quantity scanavo would allow them to manufacture, it would be crazy. Especially since the first Indian movie steelbook aka Dhobi Ghaat is still available to buy across most online stores. If scanavo allows them to make 2k, I think they'll stop at that. If 4k, then there.

Got some details on packing of rhythmhouse from a member from SA at bd forum who regularly purchases stuff from them. They pack the item in polystyrene, then bubblewrap and than put in box. I will also post pics of packing soon once I get info.

If its going to be sold by rhythmhouse than that solves the issue for peeps outside India, who want to get this.

Also release date delayed to 28th June.
