Raspberry Pi - UK PC $35!

Anyone here ordered their Raspberry Pi yet - or even heard of it?

Its the new VERY compact PC that has been developed in the UK.

After being on the waiting list for a few months, I recently ordered mine. With the extras items needed, Power supply, SD card with Linux pre-installed etc. It cost me £50 inc. postage.

Haven't received it yet, but looking forward to it!

I have heard of it, looks like some fun hardware

I might order it some day, just gotta figure out for what project. I work with Linux a lot so anything that small running Linux will be fun!

Got mine two days ago. This ones gonna be for a web server.
May get another to use as a cctv system.

What are you going to use for webserver? nginx? Apache?

I have been thinking it would be cool to have it as a monitoring device maybe video and some sensors.

Apache. Its all i'm used to.
Gonna develop my programming skills further on it too.
As i'm halfway through a software engineering degree it should come in quite Useful.
