I really tried to like it but I just thought it was s soulless film with zero emotion or empathy. It was just one long run and walk thought a landscape with nothing to offer. Sorry one of the worst films I have ever seen. If you want to watch a film about the 1st world war watch All quiet on the Western Front or Paths of Glory.

I kinda had similar thoughts on my first viewing, but then fell in love on rewatch. Also really loved the score and cinematography.

I did watch it 3 times over a period of 3 months but my opinion didn't change about it. There's no journey or characters worth bothering about. Also the virtue signalling annoyed me no end.....

The Mask

Think this is the first time I've re-watched this properly since it was released, forgot how good of a film it was.

The first time the Kids had watched it, Both loved it, Carrey, at his best :spoil::thumbs:

A quite strange journey into the life of Tommy Wiseau and the production of The Room.

I quite like the Franco brothers and for me, this was definitely worth a watch. James Franco plays this guy to a tee in this

After a long wait, finally received my Zavii Steelbook.
I have to say, a good movie, but in no way is this worthy of the accolades it has received (IMO). A filmic exercise in rich vs poor that pales into comparison with Snowpiercer. Don’t get me wrong, Parasite is a beautiful Masterclass in optics, but the story is becoming cliche for the genre. Korean director aside, let’s see something a little fresher next time. Frankly I’m a little disappointed.

Snowpiercer was ok for me until I saw the extended cut and it just fall apart for me....

Well just finished this months dose of films. I will say this you can judge my like and dislike of films by my marks but there is one film not on my list simply because it was so dire I switched off after 15 minutes. That film was Ghostbusters 2016. It really was as dire as they said....

Defiantly worth a watch and I thought Ferrell and McAdams were brilliant together in this along with Dan Stevens as the flamboyant Alexander Lemtov.
Its Ferrell’s typical style film with similarities to Blades of Glory in places, which I also enjoyed.
Ive always been a fan of Ferrell, so find most of his stuff funny and this was no disappointment.
Overall very good film in my eyes.

I could never take the Eurovision contest seriously in any way but what really did it for me was that episode of Father Ted. All I hear is "My Lovely Horse" now when it's mentioned.
